Template Letters to Contact Legislators

You can find out who your legislators are at www.votesmart.org by simply entering your address and zip code.

Then, take a few minutes to make a phone call or write them a letter to let them know your views.  We’ve provided a sample letter.

Even better, why not coordinate some local pastors and church leaders in your community to sign on to a letter advocating the principles called for by the National Association of Evangelicals, and to ask for a meeting with your representative or senator at his or her local office when they are in the district (or, if you’re up for a road trip, at their offices in Washington, D.C.).  We’ve provided a template letter.
